Hi guys, I really enjoyed this past Farmers market, I was able to speak with many health-conscientious customers interested in gluten free bread! I'm really excited to try out many new recipes that call for natural, healthy, gluten-free ingredients!
This week we are going to try a high protein and lowcarb gluten free quick bread, made with almond flour. It’s more expensive to make because of the cost of the fresh, raw almonds which are freshly ground into flour, and will be available at the farmers market this Saturday!
Last week in addition to our regular freshly milled whole wheat breads, we had a few loaves of gluten free banana nut bread. This was a great success! However gluten free bread texture differs from regular freshly milled whole wheat bread. My recommendation for tasty gluten free bread is to lightly toast the bread with a touch of any topping of your choice!
This week we'll also have brown rice millet bread!
